Filming has started!

We started filming the cafe segment of the show! It was so exciting to see the characters begin to come alive. We learned quite a bit through a long day of shooting, but everyone had a great attitude and we all had fun! Shooting will continue next week with the parable segment of the show. We had a wonderful Cafe 360 Boot Camp yesterday. There were 15 actors representing nine nationalities. (In the crew we have at least four.) We asked the participants to write down three things why they want to be involved in Café 360, just for their own benefit, to remember when going gets tough. Our staff enjoy exercising their creativity as they write the script for the pilot episode of Café 360! Characters Ben, Mosi, and Mrs. Tumelo are coming to life along with customers who visit the café. With its open, magazine-style format, Café 360 will embrace and deal with any topic in a fresh and redemptive way, leaving the audience with concrete, practical, healthy, and contextualized ways to grow.
